Bolton School. Highly respected independent school accepting pupils from nursery to 6th form. The buildings are a landmark in the town and located on Chorley New Road.
The University of Bolton
University of Bolton. Information about Bolton's university including news, staff and student matters, vacancies, and prospectus. In 2008, Bolton ranked 111 out of 113 in the Times Good University Guide. In the 2010 list it rose to 108= out of 114 with a total score of 282/1000. The good news is it's better than Thames Valley and The University of the Creative Arts; the bad news is that it was beaten by the University of Abertay. Abertay? Anyone heard of it? Soooo, if you're desperate and can't get in anywhere else...
